Dr. Robert J. Marsillo

Dr. Robert Marsillo holds a BA in Biology from Bernard M. Baruch College and a Doctor of Chiropractic granted in 1986 from the New York Chiropractic College. He holds Chiropractic licenses in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

He has experience in treating disc problems and has studied extensively the biomechanics of the lower extremities, specifically the hip, knee, ankle and foot. He has also been trained to screen for, detect, as well as treat scoliosis, a problem common to young and old alike. He attended an industrial consultant’s seminar which concentrated on prevention, detection and treatment of occupational spinal injuries.

Dr. Marsillo is a diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the Connecticut State Chiropractic Association. He is also the past president of the Kiwanis Club of Darien and remains an active member.

Marsillo is a certified American Red Cross – Protect Your Back instructor and has completed a four-year, post-graduate Chiropractic Orthopedic Diplomate Program. He has also served on the program advisory committee at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.

Dr. Marsillo has conducted wellness seminars for Frontier Communications, General Reinsurance, the World Wrestling Federation, Zotos Corporation, and Cablevision. He is available to speak to your organization on spinal health and wellness as well.

He has been involved in amateur bodybuilding and power lifting and has been active in these sports for more than 37 years, holding titles in both. Dr. Marsillo is also very familiar with the detection and treatment of injuries resulting from these sports. He has treated disc problems and has extensively studied the biomechanics of the lower extremities, specifically the hip, knee, ankle, and foot. He is qualified to detect and treat scoliosis, a problem common to young and old alike.
